HELP NEWB TO CK

Hi i am a newb to CK. i have been getting an error saying while adding quests to my race controller saying i cannot extend quest and a script. This is probably because of the errors i get while loading the plugin which is as follows

The error you get when loading the mod may be coming from one of the masters, the codes start with "02" which means they come from the 3rd file. in your mod's master list.

 

It sounds like you're making a custom race. Typically when making a custom race you have at least 3 masters, 00 = skyrim.esm, 01 = update.esm and 02 = either Dawnguard.esm or RaceCompatibility.esm. Your own .esp would probably have a code of 03 or 04, depending on if you use a RaceCompatibility.esm that requires Dawnguard.

 

Post the exact error message you get when you're trying to add the quest, if it mentions a problem with extending the quest script it may have nothing to do with the TopicInfo error. Also give some information on which masters you are using.

I receive that same warning any time I load the DLCs in the CK. The first two digits are usually 02 or 03 depending on how many DLCs are set as masters. As stated in the post above, if the first two digits correspond to where your plugin is loaded than the problem is in your quest and will need to be fixed. Otherwise clicking yes to all has had no adverse effects to any of the mods that I have worked on after receiving that warning.
