Can't rebind keys for controller Dpad

It's possible this should be in mod discussion, but it seemed like more of a hardware issue to me, so I'm posting it here.

I have frostfall installed, and want to play the game with an Xbox One controller. The problem is that when I try to bind the keys, frostfall tells me that they are already taken and refuses to rebind them. But the Dpad keybinds aren't in the key mapping menu, so I can't change them or clear them. On top of that, mod keybinds are saved in the actual save file, so I can't just change them with NPP or something. I also don't know what the codes are for controller buttons, so I can't use AutoHotKey.

I really need help with this problem, it's getting frustrating and starting to put me off from replaying the game.
