LE Bosmer friendly weapon

I tried to find some bone weapon but, beside dragonbone, haven't found any. Following the lore, bosmer never use plants and tree... but they all use wooden bow, which isn't accurate.

 

The idea is this. A weapon mod allowing you to find bones and other parts from dead animals and craft different bow and arrow. Requiring stronger animal/monster part to craft the weapon following the regular smithing system. (maybe changing the dragonbone recipe, in the process) Also having some bandits having those weapon would be nice.

 

Here's some idea:

Regular (no smithing perk): Crude/Wolf bone bow/arrow

Steel smithing perk: Elk/sabercat bone bow/arrow

Elven/Dwarven perk: sabercat/bear bone bow/arrow

Advanced/orcish perk: Troll bone bow/arrow

Glass/Ebony perk: Mammoth bone bow arrow

first of all the green pact is only active in valenwood. as long as the weapon is made of wood from outside valenwood, they can use it. (they can eat plants and stuff outside of valenwood too)

I still think that it sounds like a good idea though.

in fact I think hunterborn lets you make crude bone arrows, and an axe out of the bones you get from animals.

True, the Green Pact only work in Valenwood, forgot that. Still, role-playing can make one follow it's origin and ideal. hunterborn isn't what i want, sadly...

Doesn't the Bosmer armor pack gives you a bow?

There is the excellent Bosmer Content Pack mod by maty, but if a wooden bow is not your thing, just pick up a vanilla Imperial bow - they appear to be steel.
