Hey all, first time posting on the forums but I'm in a tough spot. Basically, almost every time I try to save my game, I crash to desktop. earlier today, it worked just fine And i have not added new mods. HOWEVER, I had just recently 'upgraded' to windows 10. strangely, the CTDs when saving did not start immediately after installing. I do not know how to find an error log. I do not have any coding expertise. I can provide a list of mods. Any help would be appreciated.

The problem would be windows 10 and not your mods. There were reports about skyrim not working on Windows10. Just hope Microsoft updates.

You'd think that, but I tried a new save file and that saves without crashing

Even stranger, I reloaded a previous save of that same character and it works just fine. I'm not sure whats going on, but it seems to  have resolved itself. but now i need to beat the mages guild again. :/

Im having this exact same problem. Unfortunately all the saves i have on this character are having this bug. it seems like no solution i see online works for me. This characters mostly used to photo shoots but i do some questing on it. I guess until i find a fix for this i will only be able to do photo shoots.

EDIT: Its also happening on characters that i have not played recently. I dont think its a load order problem because i use a load order that LOOT made (however it doesnt change anything in it so maybe LOOT just isnt working for me). Has this problem been known to happen to people using SSGM (Skyrim Save Game Manager)? http://www.nexusmods...im/mods/20456/?
