Currently (version 0.56.1), if you have Witcher 3 installed through Steam, NMM is unable to instantly retrieve the game folder if it's not installed in the Steam default folder: you either need to wait for the full scan or select it manually, but make sure to select "The Witcher 3" folder, not the witcher3.exe path.

eg.:

d:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3 - is good

d:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\x64 - is wrong

im having that issue but i don't have the witcher 3 through steam, my sister works at a game stop and got the pc version for free and gave it to me so i downloaded it from their site. at first it would detect it then i did it manually. after i did that it had no issues detecting it but i noticed that it was saving everything in the C: which would be ok but my C drive is small so i wanted all of my game stuff in my H drive. i tired moving it but now its making folders in both of my drives and the mods dont work for that game.

 

i don't know what to do...
