DerCherusker
Good day everyone, keeping it short, this video shows my problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTsoovPgyLs After changing an option in the mod configuration menu and loading the save file nothing is saved. This is very annoying, does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks in advance. Cherusker
derder1167
The mod config is saved in the save. To save your configuration, just save your game after you are finished. If you load a save created before this, it will load the settings that were there before you modified the settings.
DerCherusker
Thanks for the quick response, but that doesn't solve the problem. At 0:28 in the video I'm showing changing an option, saving the game and then reloading this exact save game and still the option didn't change: https://youtu.be/hTsoovPgyLs?t=28s P.S. Sorry that it is partially in german, but I think you see what's going on.
Corwin1971
I think something, most likely SkyTweak, is overwriting your changes. From the page: If you run mods that change gamesettings dynamically over the course of the game, you will want to use SkyTweak's "Save and Exit" options to exit the game, instead of exiting in a traditional way. This will give SkyTweak time to record the updated settings before exiting Obviously, you're changing the settings manually, but I think the same principle applies. DerCherusker
Yeah you're right it even says before that: "This means SkyTweak can and will override settings from other mods." So after I made my changes I went to SkyTweak -> Options & Info -> create save file (in the description it even says: "to avoid rollback issues") These changes are now persistent. Thank you very much! <
