idleagent
I'd like to upgrade to windows 10 but I want a fresh install since I've been using this current win7 install for years. Currently Steam and all of my games (including a very heavily modified Skyrim using Mod Manager) all reside on their own SSD. Ideally I would like to format my system drive and do a clean install of 10 and if possible just point things towards the game drive instead of having to re-install all the games and go through the nightmare of getting all my Skyrim mods downloaded and set back up. Is this possible?
scrivener07
Well even the cleanest windows install wont touch anything except the C drive. What mod manager are you using?
Di0nysys
Clean install will wipe clean your registry, which will mean Windows X will not know ur programs are installed.
Archgaull
If you're truly paranoid, unhook the SSD physically from the computer, do the wipe/install, then set it back up.
