CaarosKingOfChaos Posted September 7, 2015 Share Posted September 7, 2015 I can't actually fight anyone using frost magic, and I'm sure you can guess why based on the name of this post. It doesn't matter if it is frostbite, Ice spike, Frost wave, or even frost enchanted weapons. I am always slowed to the point of me not being able to move at all, even my attack and casting speeds are abysmally slow! Does anbony know how to fix this? GarrusTheLoneWolf Posted September 7, 2015 Share Posted September 7, 2015 I believe it is actually a feature of some mod. Perma and Skyre do it. I think. Do you run some overhauls or other mods that alter magic effects? The point is, you are supposed to be frozen to bone when you get hit to face with frost spell. How can I fix it?Get some cover and shoot them full of arrows, sneak on them and slit their throats, protective ward and fireball to face, "fus" them to stun and smack them with greatsword, get some god old-fashioned Lydia meetshield, or bash them with pommel or shield if you are lucky and get that close. Mages are feeble, magic is their only weapon. You can always find some way to use your surroundings to your advantage. And if you find spellsword draugr deathlord with frost magic ... just run away, jarl don't pay you enough for that sort of bloodbath nonsense.
