Janiskeisari Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 So I got frustrated at the fact that the game expects me to either understand elvish etc. languages if I have subtitles turned off, or just turn the damn subs on. I generally prefer to play with subtitles turned off, since I have no problem understanding from only audio, and text tends to distract me from the video / gameplay itself. So I made a small, dirty mod that shows subtitles for non-native lines only (dirty, since it only checks if a line contains a "["-character). I enabled that feature for both dialogue and oneliners, but it is not heavily tested so I'm not 100% sure that it works in every situation. The thing is, is anyone interested about this kind of feature? If somone is, I could try to go further and create a menu-option to toggle the feature from game menu etc, and actually upload the mod. I decided NOT to create any fancy menu structures, since I think there is no need for a toggle, but I had to redo the mod since I had accidentally deleted my files for the mod.
