Reoccurring Error while merging mods

Good day everyone, ive been searching for a solution to this problem all day and still no luck. So i figured i'd try and ask myself instead of just looking.

So the problem at hand:

Im using DAIToolsSuite and have the latest Modmaken and manager installed, i also have version 11 of the "Official Patch" i also know about the MoreLootCrafting mod being a bit iffy so i turned it off, BUT i still keep getting the same error: ( First a s#*! ton of warnings* and then: )

Exception message: There is already an item with the same key added.

Source: mscorlib
Target: Void ThrowArgumentException(System.ExceptionResource)
I am lost, ive deleted Patch file and repaired, ive switched around map locations of the modding files and programs. Tried older Modmanagers, nothing worked so far. If you need more info or logs, screenshots please tell me, ill gladly post them.
Thanks in Advance,
TheNyxion

It's probably an old mod that's not compatible with patch 10 (the manager calls it patch 11). Try unchecking everything except "official patch", then tick the box that says "force rescan of patch", then merge. Repeat the merge with one mod added at a time until it works. You could also post the list of mods you're trying to merge for us to look at.

Half the mods on the nexus were broken by patch 10 so you need to read the comments section carefully before downloading any mods.

NOTE: For those who care and/or are confused, it *is* Patch 10. The internal game version number is 1.0.0.11.

This is because there was a hotfix for the PC released between Patch 2 and Patch 3 that didn't get an official "Patch" designation, but did increment the version.

Thank you, ill try this out right now and return with the results. Also the mods i "want" are: NewExperienceTableFast, Discount Stores, War Table - No waiting, Quicker Looting, Redcliffe Crafting Supply v2 More Silverite, More Inquisition Levels and MoreLootCrafting.

Ok, so i tried merging with nothing else but the "Official Patch". And still i get the same error, perhaps its because of Windows 10? (Im not the greatest among IT, i know my way around but thats about it). Ill try and use my backups for the Data and Update files to get fresh files and try it again.

Nope even with clean files, i try to merge with only the "Official Patch" and the error " Exception message: There is already an item with the same key added.

Source: mscorlib
Target: Void ThrowArgumentException(System.ExceptionResource) "
Shows up again. I have no clue how and why anymore.

Most of the official versions of those mods are broken I'm afraid and the authors have not yet fixed them. Check the comments section for links to fixed versions. Some of them will break mod manager just by being in the mod folder even if you have leave them unticked during the merge.

For war table - no waiting, you need to use it with the patch that Tahira mentions in the comments section of the mod.

MoreLoot is broken. I made a fixed version that sort of works as long as you leave "Add Extra Stuff" unselected. See the comments section for that mod.

NewExperienceTable is broken, but there is a fix linked in the comments section.

More Inquisition Levels doesn't work with patch 10 and hasn't been fixed yet.

Here's what I'd suggest you do.

1. Delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch_ModManagerMerge if the directory exists.

2. Delete all but one safe .daimod from your mod directory. Provided it's Tahira's new version, Quicker Looting is one I know to be working so maybe leave that one.

3. Start Mod Manager and make sure it has the correct directory for inquisition and mods. Select "force rescan of patch" Make sure there's an X in the box next to official patch and your one safe mod.

4. Merge.

5. When it's completed, run the game and make sure it works.

6. Install mods one at a time after that, testing as you go.

Hope that helps.

Edit: If you want more inquisition perks, I fixed another mod to work with patch ten. Have a look in the comments section of this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/412/?

Thank you very much for this extensive reply, i shall try these steps one by one. I am also currently repairing my game again, but this time i deleted the entire Data and the entire Update files to get completely fresh files from Origin.(Just to be extra sure ive got nothing messed up during the back-up swapping around). Ill report back in once i get the show on the road. Thanks again.

Ok, there's progress. After deleting the entire Data and Update folders inside the DAI main directory and then repairing it ( Which took a while ) I dowloaded all the "Fixed" Mods via the comments and locations tirnoney suggested me to do. And i can safely say i have merged the files! Now i only have to start up the game and see if they works properly, but so far so good.
