Merytes
Hi, my game crashes to desktop every time after I click "new" in the Skyrim main menu if I have Dawnguard installed. It also always crashes after 3 to 15 minutes of playing the game (if I load saves by not clicking "new"). I've been having this problem for a while now, but I don't know when it started. I have reinstalled the game several times, ran the game with and without the unofficial patches for all DLCs and removed all my mods. I have also tried cleaning the Dawnguard master file with TES5edit with no visible changes. If I deactive the Dawnguard DLC, loading from "new" and actually playing the game works fine. I currently have Dawnguard, Dragonborn, Hearthfire, the HighRes texture pack, SKSE, SkyUI and the unofficial patches installed only. I'm using the newest version of NMM 0.60.9 (had the same problems on older versions of NMM). Merytes
Wait! I also get CTD when playing Skyrim without Dawnguard, after ca 30 minutes every time. Is it something about the memory or my computer?
Nazralte
Sounds like you did not use the SKSE memory patch. Do a google search on it and or watch gopher's video on how to use it. There is also a mod called Memory blocks log that will show you in a log file if you are hitting that memory block limit.
