jcbq
Wanted to perform a purge and reinstall skyrim and after MO throwing an absloute tantrum with nexus that worked. Well... evrything went fine up until i attempted to clean my masters with TES5Edit. The cleaning went fine. What happened after caused a catastrophic system failure. All of the DLC's including the update.esm were suddenly just... gone. I tried to revalidate and at first it said it was missing them and would reaquire. After 68megs of a download, still not there. Tried again, 1 file failed to validate. Still didnt show up. Went in and tried to replace the back-ups still didnt show up. Tried to reinstall via the anthology disk STILL didnt show up. Running a full system purge AGAIN to fix this. Does anyone know what happened or why MO seemed to reject all of the cleaned files?FWI: this is the second batch ive used the original install had cleaned masters and worked fine. No idea everything failed After a full reinstall it crashed and Corrupted so hard that i have a Debug warning tree with several alerts from MO itself: DEBUG (01:31:39.0910): remove mod file C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Dawnguard.esmINFO (01:31:39.0910): deleting C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Dawnguard.esm -> C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\data\Dawnguard.esmDEBUG (01:31:39.0915): using path from previous deletion: C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\data\Dawnguard.esmDEBUG (01:31:39.0917): remove mod file C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Dawnguard.esm.save.2015_11_12_01_31_38ERROR (01:31:39.0917): not a mod directory: C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\data\Dawnguard.esmDEBUG (01:31:39.0918): move (ex) C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Dawnguard.esm.save.2015_11_12_01_31_38 to C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Dawnguard.esm - 1 (183)DEBUG (01:31:40.0034): hooks removed----------- LOG END ----------- not only does this sound like Steam, MO, and LOOT tried to treat the masters as mod directories. So what exactly happened? Edited November 12, 2015 by jcbq
tad1073
I encountered a similar problem. The DLC's should be in a TES5Edit backup folder in the ModOrganizer directory and all you need to do is move them back to the Data directory. Word to the wise DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT clean your master as it is stated in a tutorial I watched. Edited January 19, 2016 by tad1073
