Increase Walking Speed

The default walking speed is too low on the player character, for some reason It's even lower than the default on NPC's since you can't keep up them while walking.

There is a console command which multiplies animation speed, but I want something that only affects the walking speed.

I want to walk/jog/sprint at the same speed as the NPC's, if i am escorting an NPC then it looks a tad odd when the civilian, who apparently needs me, walks off and leaves me in the dust.

Annoyingly, as made obvious above, this is a feature of bethesdas games and has been for at least as long as morrowind ( though back then there was a in-game stat ((Athletics?)) that governed speed that could be upgraded).

I found a way.. it's buggy sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't (and right now I'm suffering to find out why) and it envole cheat engine and the game console

there is a table someone mad it's on the website which include options for the movment speed "Set Speed" which allow you to change the "Walk Speed" and "Sprint Speed" the walk speed they meant run for some reason!.

open the cheat table and pick the game proces then enter this console command "player.setav speedmult 145" (you can change the value as you prefer) this will set the movment speed at a high level, now activate the cheat engine "Set Speed" options to..

Walk Speed 352 (which is the normal running speed)

Sprint Speed 500 (which is the normal sprinting speed)

and now my character are walking faster with normal running and sprinting speed.

Might be a bit late, but I notived that when the character first enters Vault 111, we can't run and are forced to walk. During that time we can use the slow walking (the PC default walking), and the regular walking. So maybe a mod could force this not running and bind the regular walking to be toggled by a key.
