I don't like taking heavy junk from one settlement to the next just for a scrap of copper so I have to take the item out of the workbench, drop it, go into settlement crafting mode, look at the item, press (X) to scrap) and then go back to the workshop and grab the scrap I'm looking for. Do you see the utter tediousness of my OCD/practical desire to do this? A mod that adds an option to scrap a junk item from within the workbench would be an AMAZING Non-game-breaking modification that is still consistent with the game. I just have no idea where to start to make this. It can't be too tough. I know the (LB and RB) buttons aren't used in the workbench menu so perhaps assigning this function to one of those in the menu would be possible.
