I think my gripe is the terrible animations that have been in the game in prior Fallout games. So far I've only seen one in-game character smoke frequently; a female Caravan Guard that comes to my Ten Pines Settlement is always smoking. I'm less bothered by her smoking than by the fact that she is a caravan guard that wears nothing but her panties (and chest and limb armor). For some reason I find that odd.
