Paints and buffs

So, I've been looking around the nexus for a mod to do this and I can't find one that explicitly states that it does. The game designers, misguidedly in my opinion, made paint jobs and material mods in the same category. So, if you want to represent the brotherhood and wear combat armor you have to sacrifice protections offered by Polymer. If you want to have a hot rod paint job on your power armor you have to sacrifice a lead lining or any other protections to gain a slight charisma boost. This is retarded, the whole point of something like a faction paint job or even the hot rod paint is that it shows the personality or allegiance of your character, lending to the role playing experience. If your character is a BoS fanatic, he has to sacrifice protection to show his pride in the brotherhood. If your character hopes to inspire fear in the raiders of the commonwealth by proudly wearing the Minutemen symbol, he has to sacrifice his chances of survival. You could argue that allowing everyone to boost charisma and take some other boost would be overpowered, but no one says that a paint job needed to boost charisma.

I propose a mod with two versions, a hardcore one, in which you can both paint and material mod your armors using different slots, but in which paint mods do not offer their charisma boosts, and a loose one in which all boosts are still applied.

If possible it would be nice to see in the future that BoS paint only boosts BoS standing and minutemen paint only boosts standing with members of the commonwealth or the militia (though not the railroad) and a decrease in standing to opposing factions of each paint as well, maybe even inspiring violence or an intimidation roll. It will also be nice to see the extra slot be used by other modders when they create custom armor skins, allowing the community as a whole to create its own armor paint jobs and skins with their own benefits and pitfalls.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to make this happen.
