Blade Runner Gun (.223 Pistol/That Gun/5.56 Pistol)

I can't believe it's not in the game. I personally don't really care what it's called, or what caliber ammo it uses, but it needs to be in Fallout 4. I was glad to see in in New Vegas, but I was pretty disappointed with the in game model and it's poor resemblance to the original gun, especially now that the hero prop has been found and we finally have decent pictures of it.

Sorry for the double post, but I just had an awesome idea for *how* to put the gun in the game. It should obviously be placed in the Blade Runner Easter egg scene next to Deckard and Roy's bodies, but what if instead of just laying there or being in Deckard's inventory, there's a rifle that is modable into the Blade Runner gun, pulling on the lore from Fallout 1 which described the gun as a rifle lovingly cut down and modified into a pistol. With the crafting system, we can do that now; how cool would that be? The rifle should be some kind of Legendary weapon with a bonus to kill synths. It could be a type of rifle that is already in the game and come with a comic book that unlocks the Blade Runner mods. It could be a "Blade Runner" comic, or it could be called something like "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep", or "More Human than Human". I'm partial to the latter.

Ideas for the mods:
Receiver - upgrades to double-set triggers (if an existing gun. if it's a new type of gun, the receiver could already have double-set triggers)
Barrel - upgrades from long to short
Magazine - upgrades to add a revolver cylinder along with the bolt action
Stock - upgrades from full stock to handgun sharpshooter grip
Sights - adds a laser sight (which is what the thing with the red LEDs under the barrel and the rod with the green LEDs on the side of the gun could be)

Ideas for comic book:
The original Marvel comic from the 80's

Original text could be added to this version of the Marvel Illustrated Book cover

I saw this yesterday. I'm not impressed by it. I'll repost what I said in the comments for it:

"I was incredibly excited to see this mod, but upon actually looking at the model, I'm really disappointed that it is completely inaccurate to the original. You've created the basic, rough outline of the gun, but that's where any resemblance ends. None of the parts of this thing are accurate to the Blade Runner prop. I'm glad to see someone try to put my favorite gun in the game, but I really wish it was accurate and not just a bunch of random bits and pieces. The version of the gun in New Vegas was pretty inaccurate, but this is even less accurate. I understand that you were just doing the best you could using the existing gun parts available from Fallout 4 and that it would be really difficult if not impossible to make a more accurate model without the GECK and expensive software like 3ds max, but it's still very disappointing."

Eh, 'That Gun' wasn't meant to be an exact replica of the Blade Runner gun. Too many legal problems if it was. That said, I would LOVE That Gun, as seen in New Vegas for Fallout 4.

Can't wait until G.E.C.K comes out, so the model will get closer to what it's supposed to look like. Personally, I'm hoping for a mod for separate 'That Gun' and 'Detective Special', so everyone get's what they want.
