crazycharlie55 Posted November 30, 2015 Share Posted November 30, 2015 I have followed the instructions for the ini. changes and still get the "unable to retrieve" message from absolutely every mod I've tried. what gives cuz even the simple mods will not play in game. reynold21 Posted November 30, 2015 Share Posted November 30, 2015 Try deleting nexus mod manager and all configuration files then reinstall. If that doesn't work try reverting back to an older version of nexus. Hope this helps other than that I have no ideas. I do not believe this is a mod problem so deactivating or uninstalling mods shouldn't make any difference. Maybe a bug in the mod manager itself. MrDarkfrog Posted December 1, 2015 Share Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) I have the same problem as well. I've already made the changes to the ini files and saved them. So I believe it is a problem with the launcher. However, I recently just updated my windows 10 today, and it was working just fine last night. I'm going to try re-installing and/or rolling back to a previous version of the manager to see if it works. *Update*I restored a previous verison and it didn't work. ChuckZombie Posted December 5, 2015 Share Posted December 5, 2015 I fixed mine. My problem was that somehow, bEnableFileSelection=1, got deleted from my Fallout4prefs.ini file.
