Character can't sprint

I asked about this in the steam forums and found a solution:

Under the [gameplay] section in fallout4.ini (if there is no [gameplay] section there, add it)

add the following line:

fPlayerDisableSprintingLoadingCellDistance=0

 

Hopefully this works for all of you too

Dont know excaclty what did this. but when i think about it, it did occur after installing scrap everything.

So i checked to see if running is disabled everywhere. it seems to only occur around settlements (near workshops). But after adding that line to my fallout4.ini the problem was solved permenantly.

Can confirm as of 4/4/2018 that this is still a working fix for the sprinting bug. At least in my case, anyways... Thanks!!!
