TheDeathCrafter
Hello. I'm new to the modding community and have little experience. I were watching a bunch of tutorials on Youtube on how to start modding Fallout 4 and one of the steps is to change my fallout4prefs.ini filesin order to start modding, but when i do so with Notepad it says the file is ''Write Protected'' which means i can't change the original file. I tried googling my problem but found no solusions therefore i hopeyou guys could help me. P.S I'm using Windows
micalov
Not 100% sure as do not use win 10 but normally its right click on the ini file, properties and uncheck read only.
The6thMessenger
Oh, not to be off topic, but since you're new, you should probably know to make the Plugins.txt on the AppData/Fallout 4/ folder read only when you finalized the mods you want to run. FO4 keeps rewriting it to vanilla Fallout.esm for some reason.
