Ommyto Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Hi everyone.I'm a big fan of the Fallout series largely due to the possibility of modding.And I had an idea (probably not new), and if the wasteland had a banking system. Didn't see the idea on any forum (maybe i haven't looked enought). I'm (trying) to learn how to make a mod for fallout 4 so i can build this myself but i'm offering the idea to anybody, wich will probably make a better work than myself ^^ . So here the idea:All would start by an traveller coming to your settlement and offering you some caps to set a "shop" in your town. But not any shop, a Bank! Yes a Bank and an economic system......Well.... a primitive economic system. the merchant offer you multiple option: Deposit/Withdrawal, take a loan and maybe a few other stuff a basic bank can do. If you accept, it unlock a building with 3 safe, one for the deposit, one for the benefit of your deposit and one with the bank money (wich you can steal with the right key). This is an unique building available in only one of your settlement (or maybe a limited number to have access to your money in more location). If you don't repay the loan after a while, the bank sent after you some armed thug as a warning (biggest you owe strongest they send) untill you pay or kill the bankier, but doing this, you won't be able to access his service anymore. If you're thinking of a deposit, your money wll produce benefit regulary (every week) based on how much you put on the account. As i sayed, i'm working on it (curently at stage 0.00001 ^^) and i hope i can do everything i've plan. Sorry if there's any spelling mistake, english isn't my primary language (i'm french).
