I'm splicing some armors together. Stuck towards the end. Please help!

I have permissions from all the modders for this, first off. So, I tried on 3 of the ones I am using in Skyrim before doing this, using the SFW UNP body I found. No problems there. Now, towards the end of putting the armors together, I decided to try importing that body into my blend file via obj, and it's not fitting right, even when I think I probably have it at the right scale. I was about to start figuring out how to weight paint and give it bones, etc. since I'm about done texturing and wanted to check for clipping before baking the normal and bump maps. Is the fact that it doesn't fit going to be a problem? 


I should probably upload it just in case. ...actually it looks like I can't since it is wayyyy too big, even compressed. Not really sure what to do about that. Hopefully I can get some info regardless.


((I've been working on this thing for hours nearly every day for at least like 2 months. >_>))
