lamya
I had a idea after seeing how much amazing stuff modders are coming out with for settlements build mode. What if though we could make a mod that adds a Age of empires type progression to the settlements in the game. Like AOE you would unlock nicer settlement builds through research in each category of build( electricity, defense, structure, etc). Maybe make it so research cost a certain amount of material junk salvage giving players even more reason to get back out there and plunder the Commonwealth for all that junk <3. I am in no way a mod creator just had this idea and thought I would throw it out there.
someguy2000
It's all fine and well until the Mongolians show up. I'd expect something like this in TES VI, to be honest.
lamya
lol yea. Well the idea is fallout 4 seems to be a lot of rebuilding civilization or at least the start of one. With many people complaining about how ugly the current settlement build is with just having shacks. Plus it might be more fun if rather then just be handed the nicer mods, or dc build mode upgrades if instead the game progressed into it. Giving more quests and use for the junk everyone's probably hoarding atm. I believe they did do things like this in TES where modders added new custom armor that you had to do a quest or find and kill a special mob to get which for me kept the game from becoming boring to quick.
