MadiAraly
Alright,So I have a big problem. I was getting that microstutter bug in Skyrim, and upon trying a bunch of different fixes, I came across "iFPSClamp=60". The good: my stutter stopped. :DThe bad: my game is sped up to at least 2X the normal animation speed... I saved a copy of the original SkyrimPrefs doc, and the one in my Skyrim folder now matches the original perfectly. Only problem is that the game is still sped up.I tried editing the iFPSClamp number again and again, yet nothing is working, and even when it's taken out entirely, the effects persist. If anyone has a clue how to slow down my animations again, please post. I'm Skyrim deprived and this is my 20th hour or so trying to get the game to run smoothly... haha.
Adarcer
Make sure to remove that line (and only that line) from all your .ini's eg1)Skyrim Steam folder (If useing MO you never need to alter this one)2)Documents/my games/skyrim (same as above)3)your Mod Organizer/profiles/profile name/ initweaks.ini or skyrimpref.ini4)not sure if NMM has its own .ini's the games vsync is in skyrim.ini under display (remember to edit line never have two of same line)iPresentInterval=1 disable vsync in enblocal.ini if you use it best vsync is forcing thro videocard IMO thro nvidia inspector ( for nvidia cards only) don't know about amd cards, if you go this route turn the 1 to 0 in above line
MadiAraly
Thank you, but vsync was already disabled and even when I take out the iFPSClamp line, the game is sped up. >.< I uninstalled Skyrim and am reinstalling it as I type, so hopefully that fixes the problem. Edit: Nope. Still sped up even on vanilla. :ohdear: Edited December 29, 2015 by MadiAraly
MadiAraly
Would it be possible that this is an issue now affecting my steam copy of Skyrim, regardless what computer it's on? I'm wondering if I were to completely reset my computer to factory settings and wipe all data, if that has a chance of fixing it...
