demonocolips Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 So far in game I've been disappointed with the lack of a good alpha strike energy weapon. one of the biggest things i miss from fallout 3 and new vegas is the tesla cannon. currently the largest damage laser weapon is either the silly laser turrets or the assaultron laser. now im not sure if this is currently possible but using a fusion core to power it and charging with a mechanic similar to the gauss rifle. slightly slower mind you but the number on the display should correlate to the damage done and the power taken from the fusion core. so at 100 charge it would take 100 from the fusion core allowing 5 shots before needing a reload. again this may be possible right now but i dont know much about coding or editing. My guess is that really fleshing that out properly will have to wait for the GECK, but if you're interested... it's there.
