RE: About LOOT

reposting since other post was removed, wrong place obviously, still rude without sending a message imho.

I was looking for people who use LOOT(the supposed superior to BOSS), and how it generally handles lots of texture overhauls in general, since I like them purdy. I was also curious as to who has tried to seeing if the app has a limit to what you can do with it load order wise. :geek:

any additional info people have here thats not elsewhere along with tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated, I took a long break and just started lurking around here again.

also anything to throw my way for advice for using TES5Edit, specifically for general cleanup and stubborn navmeshes.

again, forgive my newbness, its been quite awhile, cheers.

you're gonna need to get over it. there are far to many forums and users and not enough moderators and admins nothing would get done if they notified you that your post was removed. on top of that it is your responsibility to put your thread in the right place. which i might add is not this forum, you need this forum: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/420-skyrim-mod-talk/

this forum is for discussing Skyrim the forum i linked above is for Skyrim modding.

(the supposed superior to BOSS)

it is not the 'supposed' superior, it is the superior as it is the newest version of BOSS. the reason it is no longer called BOSS is that it was a complete over-haul of the tool. LOOT no longer relies entirely on a master list it now has smarter software that will detect where a mod is supposed to go based on what is in it. Also BOSS is no longer updated.

not really, you can program it to put mods in whatever order you want. so if you want this mod to be load before that mod then just program it in. the tool is pretty easy to use once you learn it and it really isnt hard to learn.

dont rush the modding process is a great tip even if you hear it everywhere.

very easy to follow tutorial right there, it is long... ish but it is easy to follow and you dont need to know it all to use the tool.
