Looking for modders

Hey people!

Nowdays it seems like KotOR II. modding community is pretty much dead. However it's still one of the best Star Wars games out there in my opinion. I think it's even better than the first episode, somehow it has more depth, it's more serious, darker.

I would like to breath some life into this community, especially now, when The Force Awakens is finally out. I'm looking for modders Who are interested in making a nice detailed Kylo Ren armor for this awesome game. I'm not a person Who is familiar with 3D modeling programs, or Photoshop or anything like that. I was working on a few projects before as an 'art director', story writer. However my projects were never released, since my skilled partner got sick. He was working on models, textures, and every technical detailes. So right now I'd need a person who is skilled in 3D modeling, one for texturing, and someone for importing into the game. I know I ask much, but I don't want to keep it for myself, I want to give this for this gaming community. I can't offer much for you guys, since I'm not a modder, more like artist minded guy. I can only give you some guidance and I have an eye for things like this.

What I have in my mind is a detailed armor, more detailed than usual KotOR stuff out there. Separate head piece, with and without hood. Even (if someone is interested in that) Ren's lightsaber would be nice. An unstable blade with crossguard.

I say again, I don't ask this for myself, it's not a mod request! I'm asking you to join me and let's give something for this community.

Anyone who is interested, skilled, and could spare some time for this, please reply to this topic or Pm me.

Thanks in advance, and don't stop playing this great game!

(Sorry, my English might be a little rusty, I don't really have the opportunity to practice nowdays. Also, I wrote this on my phone, so sorry about spelling mistakes, if there's any, autocorrect can be a pain in the...)

Given this being the first comment, I think it's safe to say the KotOR scene is certainly dead here on the nexus. Most of the mods being on no-name websites, the lack of NMM support and a total lack of updated modding guides are what I think are responsible for that in my honest opinion.

That said, I'd be well at work updating textures and tweaking certain elements if I only had access to the information I needed in order to a) get a complete and up to date version of KotOR Tool and b) get it to work on a modern operating system as it certainly is not detecting game paths or acknowledging when input manually.

It is disappointing.
