Messed up female body textures

I have jacked up female textures. I also read on Unique Player is NOT compatible with CBBE, so you need to choose which one you want to have and get rid of the other. I'm still working on my problem and I'll get it done eventually, I just wanted to post about Unique & CBBE

Not true. Unique Player works with every type of body becasue it creates its own files. Only thing you need to do is hold the ctrl key when hitting Build in BodySlide. But first you need to make sure that all the necessary files are in the right folder.

 

BodySlide and the game make use of the Actor/Character/Character Assets folder while Unique Player uses the Actor/Character/Player Character Assets folder and you need to copy the needed files from one to the other first before even building a body.

yup, having all those issues and had - page 1 to 3 as shown in this forum, I uninstalled all other texture mods kept CBBE, its show on cbbe that its great, but in game its cringingly messed up. if the van. textures aren't overlapping, the right texture from cbbe does but is still mess up. even after i followed the steps, watched 9 youtube videos, reinstalled the game, re-installed cbbe about 7 time now, its still doing it, it is like CBBE isn't changing anything in game, the cloths is the generic and not modded version, and the texture is messed up.

I've always had probs playing fallout 4 with nexus and bash, and mod manager, none of my other games has as many issues as fallout 4 does. its to the point its frestraiting.

if any one wishes to give some pointers, or lend a hand on discord, im Game.

I fixed it, so happens that the folders were installing wrong, i moved the assets and textures from the folders cbbe was installing - into the player base assets and player human female so on, in other words, manual install is more dependable then auto install. for fallout four at least. also notice the difference in folder names, you will have to educate yourselves on where things go. Worked for me. Youtube, and forums like this one are great for absorbing knowledge.

 

CBBE folder names: base human female

 

Game folder names: player human Male / Female etc.

 

the folders will most likely install above and in the folder location of: Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\textures\actors\character

 

AND

 

Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character

 

move character assets to player character assets and base human male female to player base human female.

it well replace or you may need to be sure to delete right ones before moving them, also.... One..~ mow...~ thing.. do not delete the ones you are moving to the correct area, simply copy and paste ^.^ and one....~ Mow...~ thing . ! this may not be the solution for every one, as i have not tested to see if it is a permanent one, the process may have to be repeated every time you change shape in sliders. and one... last thing.. *uncle flick* DO YOUR RESEARCH .. . .!

You know what that only fixed my end the player assets. Now do note both player base assets and vanilla base assets have the same files, after following all kinds of tutorials and reading a ton of different ways to fix both the player and npcs. IT ONLY FIX PLAYER AND NOT NPC. according to every one of these forums i had indeed successfully taken care of the issue. The vanilla textures are both replaced and non existant. so why the heck mangling words can't describe how frustrating and pointless this really must be, how the hell is the npcs still as messed up as before. is it a nexus issue, no.... is it a bethesda issue? maby.... but is it a cbbe installation issue? also maybe. . . of course it would not be an issue if it was done right in the first place. how ever why wait on a reply when you can through money at it. someone make a vanilla texture remover patch for cbbe. sense cbbe may very well be the issue here X.X "MAY+BE" again thats a "MAYBE"

Also the cbbe still installs the undies even though i did not select them to be downloaded, this is why my suspicions are that cbbe is the issue and the person who mods it, give it a possible look over and investigation.

that causes the issue with bodyslide.

I had the same mod installed just now, then removed the valkrie body, and it fixed the zombified body issue

Having similar issues, its showing up on arms n body in vanilla, I use mo2 as my mod manager now , and still very new to it , I did use cbbe when using nmm but dont know nor do i use or install mods that require cbbe...

I'm painstakingly trying to sift thru all fo4 f4se folders and remove anything connected to cbbe and its not making any change and I can still see its affects, ..

Edited Not sure what I did, I actually resorted to re installing for itself just only fo4 from the disk went in game un equipped everything and my current character body skin is back to normal and no more cbbe tank top underwear, but , and there's always a but , I tried running fo4 straight thru the launcher and it still seem to be happening ..

But re starting from current save thru f4se on mo2 my character seems ok..

Just now my hands ore those of a male in 1st person >_< well neither one thing nor the other it seem but thats more acceptable that having a ghoul looking body arms n legs.. :mellow: :confused: :huh:
