I've always felt like getting a high smithing level gave me too much for too little effort. I could get the best equipment in the game in a couple of hours into the playthrough, as opposed to waiting until I reach level 50 to start coming across some of the more the high end weapons and armor.

So, this is my request.
Simply, I would like to have to 'disassemble' armors and weaponry at a workbench before I am able to craft them. Same idea as learning a new enchantment; destroy the enchanted item, learn the enchantment.
So I could have a smithing skill of 100 with all the perks in that skill tree but still never be able to make anything if I hadn't disassembled at least one item.
If anyone decides to create this, you are a hero and a legend. Oh, and than you for taking the time to read this.

Here is a picture example of how it would work.

I can picture how to make this work:

Duplicate the armor tempering workbench and change the keyword that governs which recipes are valid.

Place this duplicate in the cities somewhere

Then create recipes that require specific weapon/armor and give the player a piece of paper with perhaps a crude sketch and a list of components needed to make.

Then the original recipe to craft the item has a condition added which requires that the player has the paper component list on hand before it can be crafted.

Please note, I have no desire to make it, but maybe its an idea for someone to run with.

Already about half done Uses a system very close to the one pale said but with no items cause it kinda filled up the inventory I left out all the beginning armour cause it was easy to make seeing it was just hides or iron but dwemer glass ebony dragon and daedric requires the new Disassembly table

Ok done Here you go http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72745 took a while longer then I thought now you can only break down nonenchanted versions so I suggest using this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39789/? that restores a cut piece of content from skyrim a bowl near enchanting tables that allows you to remove enchantments from items

Hope you like it

Thank you so much! This is incredible! Like I said, you're a hero and a legend.
