Playstation Network getting hacked??

Today psn was under attack and so was the main site, right now its under maintenance and I'm trying to get back online. For some reason i was booted from psn and kicked from the servers. I have a feeling its the hackers fault. I was wondering how many of you were effected by these hackers. Fake banns and so fourth.

Even trying to Log in to the Playstation forums its giving errors. these cyber attacks are getting scary and out of control.

Its not a ban as i first thought it was, it was so sudden thats why i thought it was a ban. they only ban by mac address, and my bro and a friend of mine also had the same problem. At the time i was almost in a panic because it refunded my acount. becuase i was in the store at the time of the psn shut down.

Then you're missing out on a lot of fun Thor, the DX11 patch is a hoax, Crytek released a press statement a number of weeks ago stating that any rumors of a DX11 release of Crysis 2 are mere rumor and the WILL ALWAYS BE DX-9 only.

 

As for the PSN network hackings, it's part of an organised "cyber-warfare" "action" by a group arroagntly claiming to represent the "greater good" called anonymous. Anonymous objects to a partiocular legal case being pursued by Sony against a former employer and convicted hacker, and have sworn to do everything in their power to disrupt Sony operations until their demands are met.

 

Anonymous is a group of ... individuals who use hacking to achieve their petty goals, which are typicaly for a particulart resolution to legal proceedings, usualy in direct violation of local lawsd. Sony would however will be unlikely to give into their demands, as they are nothing more than criminals, and after a period of disruption, the service will resume.

 

The other problem that PSN users face is that a member of Anonymous recently dsistributed classified security information regarding the PS3 on the internet, it is currently without many oif it's uisual safety measures, so if I was yopu I'd call customer support, then pull the plug till it's resolved.

I think "meh" is the way I'd describe it, a linear shooter that leads the player around by the nose, it's alright in short bursts but can get a bit tedious.

Crysis 2 is a game that you're either a fan or a hater of. Jim here is a hater and I just dont get why. It's a fine FPS, and it's very much like the original Crysis in it's incredible ability to be divisive.

Hmm great thread topic, what is the best DX11 game out there. Or dx 10. Crysis would be one of them.
