Knife Stabbing (Finisher) Mod

Hey Everyone. So here's my idea regarding knives and stabbing. I was playing FO4 last night with several mods running. (limb damage, location damage, Weapon damage realism, etc.) in the Vanilla game the Player and NPCs have the ability to either stab you or the npc in the neck or stab repeatedly in the stomach. It was a rare chance that would happen with only the last enemy. I had made a save right before an NPC killed my character just to see how it would play out. Sometimes the NPC would stab me in the neck and sometimes i would get shanked in the gut several times thus for killing my character.

 

The question here is if someone can make a mod that allows you or enemies to do that finishing move at any time as part of the normal knife attack. Essentially id be looking for a Mod that would be similar to "The Dance of Death" for Skyrim. To me it seems realistic that if you where to use a knife at close range then you would probably grab the enemy and repeatedly stab them until they died. I would like that to happen all the time. In simpler terms the knife kill moves would replace the normal knife melee when a knife or sword is equipped by the NPC.

 

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

I mean it makes sense too, if somebody wants to kill your character and fast with a knife or sword they are gonna come charging at you and try to take you out right away. It just makes the game play a lot more immersive and fun. I really enjoyed that aspect of Dance of Death in Skyrim. As cool as it was to finish enemies off quick it was scary knowing they could do the same to you even at higher levels

So i made my first attempt on trying to make this mod a thing because it seems pretty straight forward. NOPE, im lost and clueless. wouldn't even know where to begin with it. downloaded FO4edit and understand the jist of things but no luck. BTW ive never made a mod myself besides editing values for weapons and armor.

Heh. I've checked fo4edit, too. And I managed to break a lot of things, but the chance for melee killmoves? No clue.

 

I've found some hints that in skyrim there was this

set killmoverandom to <0-100>
set decapitationchance to <0-100>

but I don't think it works like I want it to in fallout4.

 

I'd love to see a "every stealth kill in melee(unarmed and weapons) gets a killmove" thing. Love the cinematics. Feels rewarding of the stealthy gameplay and picking the right time to attack.

I would really like a mod like "Dance in the Death" it would make much more sense if we would not need a mod for that IMO... Talking about that one hit instagib punch sometimes, these should change to a random action kill move!

Fallout 4 has so much unused potential in melee...

I love the melee and H2H killmoves. I have plans to create a mod that will let you perform killmoves anytime / with any weapon equipped, i.e. imagine you're shooting at your enemy and you get close enough - upon tapping a "killmove/close-range" hotkey you'll automatically draw your switchblade / knife (if you have one in your inventory) and give the unfortunate enemy who's made the mistake of coming close a quick, summary execution, then automatically switch back to your weapon!
