The ultimate Orc experience. (possibly some spoilers?)

Hey you! do you want to live life as an orc chief, commanding a warband of merciless warriors as you raze the cities of Skyrim to the ground? Or do you crave a simpler life, working away at the orichalcum mines surrounded by your tribe? Whatever your motivation, i have the mod list for you!

After a long sabbatical i'd stumbled upon a link to a beserker build (http://tamrielvault.com/group/character-building/forum/topics/character-build-berserker) and wanted to make a character of my own. Enter Horgoth the Blooded.

The first mod in my experience was 'Alternate start, live another life'. This fantastic mod allowed me to bypass the Helgen story and start off as another warrior in a stronghold (i believe which stronghold is random) Without a second thought i punched my chief in the face and set off to Falkreath, twin axes in hand, and the Iron hand by my side.

Why Falkreath i hear you ask? well because nine times out of ten Jarl Siddgeir will ask you to slay a Bandit Chief at Bilegulch mine (always orcish in my experience too). Bilegulch mine that is found within the Stronghold mod 'Lorgakh Yal-An'. Once Me and Ghorbash cleaned up the place, we settled in using 'My Home is Your Home'.

I took a brief interlude to level up and become harbinger of the companions/ get my beastblood riled up. Fun times. It's also a quick way (sans cheats) to get access to a daedra heart and troll fat. When i hit level ten i helped Yamarz take a load off, (his head, i took his head) and got access to even more orcish followers. Using 'Increased followers' i was able to recruit them all into my stronghold. Chief Horgoth was beginning to gather steam.

The next part of my journey, after installing 'Dominions more orcs', was to travel to each of the four vanilla strongholds and punch every chief i met in the face to assert my dominance. They even paid me for the privilege, I'd have done it for free. (side note, i was really disappointed that there wasn't a quest for mauhulakh, seems like there was a lot of build up for it) eventually i grew my following to atleast a dozen strong of capable warriors, rangers and spellswords. Perfect for retaking 'Gash murug, the abandoned orc stronghold'. There i met Buhrza, the only inhabitant. I gotta admit, it takes massive balls to stand alone against a dragon the way he did, and after my warband defeated it i used 'jaxonz renamer' to brand him chief of gash murug. I even let a few of my entourage move in to help him run the place.

And thats the lay of it until now friends, The rise of Horthog the Blooded to Chief, the reunification of the strongholds under one raiding party. As i sit upon my throne gazing upon my tribe, my thoughts turn to which one i should marry first. And then i think we'll turn our attention to The cities, and the plunder they hold.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60189/? More Orcs - Arron Dominion

Optional 'flair' mods:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33162/? Immersive settlements - Pymous (adds some nice touches to strongholds)

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34615/? Mantle of the Silver Hand - Hothtrooper 44 (used on chief buhrza)

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14080/? Sabrecat Gear Mod - Gin14x12 (gives a craftable version of the stormcloak guard armor, but with sabrecat heads)

Mods I'm interested in:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63596/? Tharash Dol - glenchild (It looks great, you cant have too many strongholds, and the fort addition is a nice touch, but some of the posts made it seem buggy)

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54326/? Orsinium mod - GrandDukeAdense (same thing, looks really cool, but a few bugs, and im worried it might be 'empty' )

If anyone knows any other good orc-related mods i'd love to hear about them, and even if theres a mod that lets me fight against both imperials and stormcloaks, and be recognised as a chief by other orcs. I Really can't reccomend the mods above enough, they've completely revitalised this game for me. I have wasted HOURS on it. DAYS even.

If this gets any attention i'll try and upload pics of Horgoth in all his glory.

I really like the imperious races ,it gives the orcs really cool abilities!! I saw that Tharash Dol will conflict with any mod that alter the area north of Talking Stone Camp..and do you have these installed?
