WARNING : THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE ELIZABETH COMPANION MOD. DO NOT PRESS SPOILER UNLESS YOU EITHER: a) DON'T CARE. b) NEVER GONNA PLAY IT. (or) c) YOU ALREADY HAVE PLAYED IT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

THIS IS ALSO A LONGER POST. SO, TO BE ACCOMMODATING, I PUT THE IMPORTANT STUFF IN BOLD AND IN LARGER FONT. YOU'RE WELCOME.

--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--<>--

I'll start from the beginning for y'all.

I'm a personal Bioshock fan at heart, and it will always be my favorite game by far. So, as the fanboy I am, I

start to snoop around for mods that add the well known Elizabeth into the game. I looked on Nexus, and, much to my chagrin, nothing showed up except for two Plasmid mods. Sooo....

I type it into the google search engine, and a Reddit page pops up as the first result. I go to it, and, lo and behold, there it was. The promised land. That THING that I had been looking for, for a long and strenuous hour or so. Finally. As you can imagine, I was excited to play it since it was lip synced and voiced (although it was just cuts from Infinite, but who am I to complain). I launch my game, check the esp, load the game, and a note pops in my inventory leading me to a certain place.

Some crummy hotel down in Freeside.

A little bit of context... I go there, gain some information from a terminal, which leads me to another place, which takes me to another place, blah blah blaaaaah, Brotherhood of Steel, bleh. I go to a place to get transportation to where Elizabeth was, baaaaaaah, get into the vehicle, and then I'm in Rapture.

I got info from the terminal containing the co-ordinates to Rapture, mess around with some commands to get Vera's Dress (cus I thought it was appropriate to have something similar to Rapturewear), go to the sewers, shoot some ghouls, find myself in some destroyed city, find the BoS whom have the submarine necessary to go to Rapture, get in, and then arrive shortly after.

So, I'm in Rapture, marvelling at the sights, and I find myself doing certain things to get where I need to go, building up the suspense and the immersion and the excitement, and I finally obtain her. I take her from Rapture after more things, and then I'm back with the BoS.

I get off the submarine, go to a kitchen in the Artemis Building, find info, go power on a generator, go back to the submarine area, into Suchong's Labs, and to a Vitachamber. I had found a Hair Sample before, and inserted it into a terminal to power it on. She is resurrected, dazed, and confused, and we talk a bit. We fixed the Lutece Device, got transported back to where the submarine was before we used it, and she experienced Post-War for the first time.

THEN...

We leave the BoS, backtrack, and find ourselves in a shop. She says she is going to get some clothes that aren't all bloody, and I start to look around. I notice that there aren't any outfits that are replacements of her originals in the game. She walks out, and looks like this:

It's not that I have a problem with her wearing pants, and I'm not some misogynistic communist pig, it's just that the outfit frankly makes her look like a man. I mean, the pants make her look a lot more square than she really is, her shoulders are too wide, and it just kind of ruins immersion for me (although the mod wasn't lore friendly anyways):

If you can tell there's an obvious difference between the two pictures, and her body structure, then you probably understand why I'm a bit ruffled about this. Grrrr... I loved the mod that the author made and understand it's not easy making them, but it can't be THAT hard to make 3 outfits for a companion, can it?

Which brings me here.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help solve this predicament for me,

and it could maybe help anyone else out there who wants this, too.

Thank you!

Sorry, I'm red and green colorblind. I couldn't read your post.

You cold as ice Charlie Murphy...

On a serious note, it does take a lot of time and effort to make a companion mod.

Now I haven't played the mod you're talking about, so this is all speculation from your post. I suppose its possible the mod author couldn't have been bothered to make the outfit exactly like her previous appearances, but I'm more inclined to believe that they tried to blend her into this game. Make her as they imagined her in fallout, not an exact carbon copy from elsewhere. But that's beside the point. Mod authors can't satisfy 100% of their users with every outfit being what the downloaders want, even IF that was their goal. Which it mostly is not. Some people like different looks. You are more than welcome to edit them if you want to go in a different direction than the original author and use your edit in your own game.

But since you're on the request forum, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for.. I see where you asked for help, but you weren't exactly specific.

Were you asking a nexus modder to edit another modders work, taking the existing mod and tweaking her to have appropriate clothing and giving you a new updated version of their work? if so, the answer will always be no here, as that would be stealing from the original mod author without the proper permissions.

Were you asking someone to create a whole new mod starting from scratch? If so, there have been a few that I can see, but they don't have near the content as this one seems to, and that would be a LOT of work for them, not to mention (and I may be wrong) you shouldn't find other game's voice files spliced into a mod here on the nexus, as that would be stealing from the maker of the bioshock game.

Are you wanting someone to simply make clothing mod that you can use in unison with your companion mod? Something that you can add via console and give it to your companion so that she'll wear it? if so, you'd have to make sure it works with your first mod, and that there isn't something in Elizabeth's mod that will cause her to wear her default clothing anyway.

If all you need is an outfit, you might be able to find someone here who can help you out, or track something down that someone has already made. Or yet another option, there are quite a few very skilled mod authors here on the nexus that do outfits similar to that quite often, some are available on their own, some in large packs of clothing mods. It might not be spot on what you're looking for, but you may find something you like that will work for you.

Hi.

The problem is that Elizabeth's body in bioshock and female body in fallout have rather different proportions. The idea was that Elizabeth would be able to wear any other fallout outfits or armors and that's why she is using the fallout body. Also I don't think that her outfits from bioshock would make much sense in a post-apocalyptic wasteland anyway.

And yes, it was difficult (for me) to give her a custom body and make other outfits. We had some hard time adjusting her bloody outfit from BAS.

You can try using some female body replacer since she uses the default female body.

Dunno man, did you try? If you didn't, how can you tell?

Btw, your google-fu is weak. Train more you must, young padawan.
