Working Trench Knife TTW

It always bothered me that you couldn't punch enemies with the trench knives in Operation Anchorage. I was wondering if someone could walk me through how I would go about doing that. My idea was to remove the vats attack from the knife and reclassify the weapon as unarmed so the uppercut would become available. However when I went to test this out in game it let me select uppercut but no animation played. Any help would be really appreciated.

I guess it would depend on whether the mesh is available in the FONV BSAs as the nexus has removed TTW related material.

That's not the problem I have all the resources I'm just wondering how I can make the Vats attack for the knife which is classified as one hand melee, an uppercut like all the unarmed weapons have.

No they haveent there are many ttw converted fo3 mods on the fnv nexus.

Such as? I made several TTW mods during it's development including a fix for broken steel's ending, and all my mods as well as all other TTW mods that I'm aware of were removed. Consult a moderator I think they will fill you in re: nexus policy and ttw.

Kuroitsune's (the creator of TTW) last post in the TTW thread before he had it locked;

 

"The problem is licensing. We need permission from both Bethesda and Obsidian to allow a mod like this to exist, one that allows assets from Fallout 3 to be used in New Vegas. It is not a Piracy issue. We didn't have permission, so the site must come down. Any mod like this without permission must come down, including RFCW and Deja Vu Vegas."

 

I'v contacted two moderators to clarify whether new TTW mods are fair game on nexus, as I'd love to start making them again.
