Can't convert a single file with Rad Tools...

Hi, trying to convert a video to Bink format, but, the Rad Tools are being utterly useless... I've tried every codec to 'bink it!', *.mov, *.avi (Multiple kinds.), *.wmv and even *.mp4. (Especially wish that last one worked, the compression/filesize ratio is simply stunning.)

With any filetype, it is giving me the well-known error: "Error opening: filename.bla", Yet Google hasn't been able to find a single topic that gives me a solution. I tried reinstalling Quicktime, but no luck either. Any video file plays normally on my computer, so I have no idea why the Rad Tools are being so whiney...

Can anyone help?

I cannot remember the exact specifics but when I converted an AVI video to BINK format for use in Oblivion as a cinematic scene, I had no problem with it. Maybe you need to uninstall, reboot and re-install.

I'm not 100% positive but I think I used uncompressed AVI as input. Either the documentation that came with it or posted on their site guided me through the specifics...which typically is just finding out what codecs it can handle for input.

Didn't work, the reinstalling with reboot in between... I still don't understand why it is accepting a wmv made by microsoft, but not by sony vegas pro... I found out the wmv provided with windows are in mediaplayer 9 advanced profile, so compressed my video's in that profile as well, but still the stubborn crappy Rad Tools can't read it...
