Thanks for the guide wax. Hopefully this cuts down on the number of new topics that are obviously keyword related issues. I'm not sure if twist is really that dumb, or is just a complete schmuck. Either way getting rid of SSex is the single best thing most people can do to fix their keyword issues. That and that mod is a freakin mess once you dig into it.

I do have a question for you though. For me Kerrigan.esp is dependent on Armorsmith Extended.esp. NMM will not allow me to move is above Armorsmith. Any idea why that is?

You installed the AE version of the Kerrigan.esp plugin.

Let's try to stay on topic, this is going to be a very important forum post.

@Gambit77: Homemaker will still use the same categorization for its items in SK's structure even after removing all the keywords from its plugins, right?

The sk patch sets up the keywords right, so removing keywords from both HM.esm and the patch is not going to affect them.

Btw, add this for rules

x. When asking for help, remember to provide all the information you can: what mods you use, the load order (obtain load order by exporting it to clipboard/txt via the button you find in NMM plugins tab), what have you tried already etc. If you only come and post "halp halp mah modz not werkin" you will receive 0 help, as nobody knows what you have on your pc.

Yep it all works correctly.  All the vanilla keywords from Homemaker.esm were just name changes and all the new ones were being deleted by the SK integration patch.  So deleting them all has no unintended consequences.

I have another rule for you to add.

11. If you're still hitting the formlist cap after following these steps, I have a quick fix that will lower your category footprint by a lot.  The Homemaker SK integration patch uses deletion overrides on the Homemaker menu category keywords.  Those deletion overrides will break if you'd still be over the cap after they'd apply.  So for people that are using a lot of mods that add menu category keywords the Homemaker SK integration patch may not function properly for you in regards to lowering the menu category keyword footprint.  There is a fix for this though.  Open the Homemaker.esm and Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp in FO4Edit.  Remove the entire Keyword sections from both plugins and save.  And presto, you have a always functional fix to remove Homemaker's menu category keyword footprint.  I've mentioned the fix on the Homemaker page a couple times.  Hopefully NovaCoru will start packaging the SK Integration patch like this in the future, as the people that are most likely to need this (novice modders with no comprehension of the limits of the game engine) are the ones least likely to fix this themselves.

I wonder if the 1.9 merge script works properly in FO4Edit & if so, whether these two will merge properly. I may look into it later.

EDIT: Nope.

@Ethreon: not the purpose I had in mind for this thread. But if I make an expanded in-detail guide, that will definitely be part of it ;)

It would probably take less time to drag the changes from the SK patch into the main esm to merge them than it would to run the script and thoroughly check to see if it broke anything.  The changes are all in the constructable object recipes.  But unless NovaCoru decides to go all in on SK instead of implementing it by patch, my fix is definitely the fastest way to fix the problem.  And the method should still work for future updates.

Nope, merging automatically for workshop mods seems to not do anything. But you can simply create an empty plugin, and drag/copy all the things you want :)

Well thank you.  That's pretty much my favorite compliment.
