As of Feb 21, this mod is not working reliably.

It CAN work if you use wGhost81's patched version found at the Unification Patch page, make sure to use the right Unification patch with his patched version of this mod...

BUT it will cease to work if you save the game, meditate or the game time-skips via mission/cutscene. It will only work again if you reload a save.

So really, mod is BROKEN and author appears to be on hiatus.

Everythings works now on 1.31.

One question. Any chance to change bright of fire in files?

If yes, how to do it?

Spoiler

I would like to try this mod but it's not working for me either, at least not with preparations mod meditation to change time of day. I get around it by using worldenblighting mod ( https://db.tt/RX9j4Lv3 kudos to vesemas228 for providing it with author MIA) with a reshade ( https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3700/ ) that both makes night a little bit darker.

Also character lighting fix mod and no cutscene lighting mod (both on Nexus) that removes fake lighting from characters and cutscenes. Taken all together it can be pretty damn dark esp if it's a rainy/clouded night and you're in a dark alley or similar with no lights around.
I'm not interested in truly or pitch dark settings as Geralt has cat eye3s and so could pick up the slightest bit of light and enhance it. With this mod package you can get by outdoors without torch or cat potion though it will be tough in the darkest areas but you will absolutely need torch or cat for some/most of the caverns and underground locations unless they provide their own light sources.

Correction: worldenblighting contains character lighting fix and ncl already.

+1 from me. I find nights way too light and this mod would be my go-to choice. I'm on 1.31
