CTD When Unequiping Bound Sword

Hello guys. I got CTD when unequiping bound sword. I can cast/equip bound sword with no problem. I used XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended with sword on back style. I have YY Anim Replacer - Mystic Knight, Baddass Dual Wield, and New Animation-1Handed Weapon-Combo Exclusive mods which involve equip/unequip 1h animation. I also have run LOOT and FNIS but they did not state any error.

 

This have been the 3rd time I reinstall skyrim so I have no corrupt save or get the common casting bound sword ctd. I also have done the ressurect/resetinventory fix for this problem and of course it did not work. I cannot find any solution in other thread so I need anyone who expert in modding to help me.

 

I am suspecting that Im missing the 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx because when I take a look at my skyrim directory, I only have the 1hm_boundswordequip.hkx. I search all the mods I mention above and did not find any 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx. Do the 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx is needed and it is my problem or there are any possible explanation.

Have you tried activating the skyrim logs? It may help you to track down theproblem.

 

If not:

 

Go to Documents/MyGames/Skyrim and edit the Skyrim.ini

 

Add (or edit if you already have those lines in your skyrim.ini)

[Papyrus]
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1

This lines will activate the ingame logging.

 

The logfiles can be found in Documents/MyGames/Skyrim/Logs/Script

Thanks for your reply xand2. I have enable it but I didn't know how to read it. I get a lot of RaceMenuPluginXPMSE error. How do I fix it? But still I didn't think it cause my game to CTD when unequiping bound sword. This is my Papyrus.log...

I am suspecting that Im missing the 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx because when I take a look at my skyrim directory, I only have the 1hm_boundswordequip.hkx. I search all the mods I mention above and did not find any 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx. Do the 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx is needed and it is my problem or there are any possible explanation.

 

No I don't think that's it. I happened to have a folder where I extracted all my bsa's, theres a 1hm_boundswordequip.hkx ( 1st and 3rd person), but the unequip files are named 1hm_unequip.hkx (no file named 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx).

If your mod is referring to that file, that's the problem and needs to be posted in the author's page for the mod.

Try Animation Catcher with your logs enabled, might give you a better picture of animation events at the crash.

Thanks for the info Tony_OQuinn. After hours of troubleshooting I manage to figure what mod cause my game to CTD. Turned out it were Realistic Equipping Overhaul (Gear Up) mod. I already report this to the mod page but I'm afraid the mod author (Dragondude1029) have been away for almost a year. So my solution is disable the EO and play without it.

 

It would be great if someone can help me fix this. My high elf character looks amazing using bound sword with greatsword displayed on back.

 

Btw, its good to have you around sir because I often see you actively reply on posts. I even have installed ICBINE because I see you suggesting it to someone. I don't even knew there's a mod like this :)

Thank you, sir. You give me too much credit, though. I'm an amateur modder with too much free time, just trying help others while I can.

 

In my opinion Dragondude1029 needs to give it up, pass the mod on to someone else. You might post that suggestion on his mod page or in the Mod Request forum.
