Player Voice Modulator

Hi I'm new to these forums but I have been using nexus mods for almost a year now.

Normally I don't need to do this, but I cant seem to find something I thought would have been a fairly obvious Mod that would have already been made.

So if it does exist I was hoping someone would point me in the right direction, and if it doesn't maybe I can inspire someone to add it.

I was thinking there should probably be a mod that adds digital effects to the player voice.

That way they could roleplay a synth, or potentially a cyborg.

It wouldn't even necessarily need to be very hard to implement. Just take the modulators already applying to the synths, or when wearing power armor and make them apply to the player all the time.

What would be super cool would be a custom modulator that a player could fine tune to their liking, but I understand how much more difficult that would be.

I mean the synths got this crazy cool voice warping mod(

), but none for the PC?

So if it exists, please show the way, if it doesn't, I hope this sounds as cool to you as it does to me.

Rather than a 'digital effect', I think the mod author above just took all the Synth audio clips and pitched them down in Audacity or whatever. You'll notice they're a little slower, which is the effect of having the pitch and timing stretched out slightly.

I'd be surprised if it was really some kind of real-time audio processing, that seems like it would lag the game really badly.

Actually Fallout 4 does use real-time audio manipulation, though I can't comment on the mod in question.

You won't notice any performance hit at all from it though. Audio effects are orders of magnitude easier for processors than Visual effects. It's why sound cards aren't really done anymore and graphics cards are likely to be the most expensive part of your computer.

In FO4Edit, you can find them under Audio Effect Chain.

The power armor itself is AudioEffectChainPowerArmorHelmet [AECH:00058594].
