xXWolfcrashXx Posted March 28, 2016 Share Posted March 28, 2016 Hi, I love Bethesda games and I'll play them for hours on end but one thing that has always bothered me is that there is no penalty for death, I never really liked the reload until everything goes according to plan style death mechanic and I managed to find a mod that fixes that for Skyrim (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34698/?) But I haven't been able to find one for Fallout so I'm requesting that here, the concept is simple, when the player reaches 0 HP or dies instead of loading last save they will respawn somewhere (Maybe the last bed they slept in minecraft style) and have to do a corpse run (Travel back to where they died and pick up the loot they lost off their corpse). When your health drops below a certain percentage you get a massive DT boost and every hit has a customizable chance to knock you out,which will then lead to you having something akin to a dream or a nightmare.Then you will wake up somewhere close and a lot of your stuff will be missing.Much more lore-friendly and immersive than your idea.You can even get a few perks through certain dreams/nightmares you have.
