Untick the "read only" box in the properties of your DAI folder.

I did as you proposed but for me the problem lingers.

I noticed that once I aply the "unticking" of the "read only" and close it, but as I open it again the properties windows apears as if I didn't do any change to the "read only" box

you need to untick it from the game folder and when you do it will change it for the whole folder, it doesn't work inside it apparently
