MOD Request: a Hot Tub / Jacuzzi for my Settlement

Just saying. If the world of Fallout 4 runs close to our own world, then there should be....hot tubs. A hot tub is nothing but a small swimming pool thats heated.....and very relaxing.

It would need a cover too, to slip on when a rad storm is coming. lol

I can already imagine Hancock, Piper, Cait, Curie and myself.... chillaxing in the hot tub after a long day of killing deathclaws and raiders. Oh, I guess it would have to be big enough to fit Strong in there too, in case he wanted to try it out =smirk=

Why not? =smile= I sluff around in mucky irradiated water for hours at a time battling mirelurks. So why can't the idea of a safe clean bath sound like a good idea?

It should be something that is earned mid to late game through building successful settlements. It wouldn't make as much sense if you just built one day one, but once everything else is taken care of it works.

However, it would be kind of awkward if everyone was sitting there and not talking. Need more dialogue lines or something to go with it.

Yes,but from a role-playing perspective,it wouldn't make any sense to not keep water. You never know if something will happen (I.E Raiders destroy your water source, your settlement gets besieged) so always having a lot of spare water can be useful.

No.Water is very valuable in the apocalypse, and even if you have way too much water, you would be better off saving that for a time where you may need it or to sell it,and not build a hot tub.

What a NONSENSE- did you not notice the hand cranked pumps in the game and wonder how they work?

So long as the water in the water table is not so contaminated, water would be the LEAST problem for any well organised settlement.

It scares me just how little people today know about basic engineering, or how their planet works. Modern education is clearly designed to do anything but educate.

And given the SIMPLICITY of a hot-tub, and its profound beneficial psychological effects (the Ancient Romans had them, for heaven's sake), they'd be one luxury any established settlement would consider.

Raiders don't scare my settlement... There aren't enough Raiders in the entire state of Massachusetts to besiege my settlement.
