Deleted5395983User Posted April 3, 2016 Share Posted April 3, 2016 Hello everyone, today I have bought the original Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, and my friend and I were hoping to be able to play together within the game. Now we both knew that the game's age was showing and it would be difficult to find other players but we didn't think it would be this difficult. My friend is level 19 and I am level 16, we both have D.S Fix installed. The problem is that my friend has killed the Taraus Demon and I have not. He came back to the bonfire before the Taraus Demon to help me out since I just bought the game and I was having issues. However, I can not see any form of blood stains, messages, or summoning marks on the ground, but my friend is able to see them. I don't understand why I can't play with my friend. Is there a prerequisite that I am not aware of because he has the soap stone and tried to help me. I also forgot to mention, we are both human.
