Hunt other dragonborn

I was recently playing through dragonborn and came to think of the final battle with miraak. WHere you are awarded with a certain amount of souls (dont remember how many). And considerign how I have some mods that utilizes dragon souls more than in the vanilla game i always have a need for more. So, rather than hunting down dragons to get a single soul how about hunting down other (ver ydifficult) dragonborn to get both a challenge and more souls? I know nothing of modding, would love to learn but I don't know if this is the place for me to start? Or if anyone else more capable could do it? If im not mistaken it shouldn''t be too difficult.

I'm not sure if this should be the first mod you try to make, but I'm sure with a little help, you'll be able to do it. I can see if there is a way to add NPCs with dragon souls and if there is, I can tell you how to do it yourself and then maybe you can upload a mod of your own, if you want.

So I did some experimenting and I kinda figured something out. I made a "Nord" character and I used the "EncDragon01Fire" template and I ticked the "use scripts" box. I placed him in a test cell and went in game and killed him. Everything worked out great and I absorbed a dragon soul but because I used the dragon script the NPC also used dragon effects. When I killed the NPC he started burning just like the dragons do when you kill them and when he was done burning the only thing that disappeared was his armor. So here is the minor issue, the effects were made for dragons not humans, so the effects seem rather large and unrealistic on a Nord NPC, also after he finished burning, the only thing that vanished was his armor but his body was still perfectly intact. Those two things were the only issues I noticed. If you want, I can upload a screenshot of what it looks like and then you can decide if it bothers you or not.

Familiar Faces might do what you want. You can import the dragonborn from one save file into another and make them a followers or enemies. Not sure if defeating one gives you souls. I did use it but only as follower.
