txwolf208 Posted April 23, 2016 Share Posted April 23, 2016 Magic in most fantasy settings is something that only a learned few know. Even novice magicians and conjurers are rare. Powerful sorcerors even more so. Yet, in Skyrim random bandits use magic, necromancers are everywhere, and even some common citizens know some magic. Is it possible to make a mod where less people use magic? I have seen a mod that nearly removes all magic from skyrim but that isn't what I am looking for. Instead I just want it to be more rare, soley the province of real mages, not random bandits, and there definatley needs to be less necromancers. They still need to exist, such as the ones in places where it makes sense to find them such as in quests related to them, but all in all the sheer number of magic using enemies make it feel like magic is cheap and anyone can learn it with no trouble at all, and I would love to see a mod that makes magic a little more rare.
