Freeze then white screen in game

So the game ran great the first hour or so that I played it . Upon my second startup to play , after an hour or two it froze and went to a white screen with sound and able to hear my character attack and move around . It seems to progressively get worse happening sooner and sooner , and now it happens within a minute of play and it's at the point where I'm just going to get my money back for it ..... but I'm already hooked so I want to enjoy this game .

Specs:

Intel i5 4690k with aftermarket cooler DeepCool Gammax

AMD Gigabyte 380x

8GB RAM

120GB SSD

1TB HDD (Installed on this)

Thermaltake 700W PSU

ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer

 

So I've tried re verifying the cache , reinstalling , different video settings , windowed mode , updating drivers/reinstalling clean , and limiting the bandwidth steam uses .

 

Wtf is up with this game ?

 

EDIT : CHANGING BACK (AGAIN) TO MEDIUM SETTINGS SEEMS TO HAVE FIXED IT . Who knows , maybe it'll start it again , hopefully it won't . As an eye-candy monger , even I can't notice a difference between medium and maxed settings (unless I get up close and personal with the textures) , maybe it's because of the new textures in SOTFS version of DS2 ? Who knows , but I figured I'd edit in that it works now .
