wtf is going on? valve destroyed the workship, my mods are not loading, not downloading, not being detected by launcher properly

mods weren't downloading/syncing properly
renaming workshop app id name to .old at the end of all of them fixed it atleast partially since 20-30 mods are in my data files now and ALL mods were fully sync/checked from the skyrim launcher
i should try resubscribing..again.. to make sure all 233 mods are properly installed

they claimed skyrim app id is appworkshop_72850.acf

that is not true

i checked a mod inside it

and it was for Cities: Skylines

i just tried renaming everything in that folder to .old

and 72850 that previously had cities skyline mods in it..turned into having skyrim mods in it

i am not sure if that fixed it i have not launched skyrim

RENAMING THEM ALL TO .OLD

i launched skyrim and the launcher is properly syncing it's showing them in data files of the launcher, it's checking individually "mod is up to date " "installed mod xx of xx bla bla bla"

idk if they work ingame yet but this looks promising

i checked the launcher data files it shows they are not enabled

THIS LOOKS PROMISING

i also changed "needs download "1" " to "0" in the workshop app id file it was changed back to 1 but i have no idea if that did anything

i am not too sure yet if they don't work ingame maybe they will if i reresubscribe since it is properly syncing now

it fixes skyrim launcher not syncing properly(detecting 0 mods installed)
my 20 out of 233 mods are in launcher now.. and 233 mods were all individually fully checked as being up to date
0 byte download was also fixed by verifying cache after leting the above^ happen

launching skyrim launcher let it sync

close launcher

verify cache again

open launcher

let it sync

verify cache again

 

doing this twice now i am seeing even more mods starting to get added to data files

since the syncing starts working again you need to launch skyrim launcher multiple seperate times after verifying and i am now seeing even more mods get added to data files

i look at steam forums and nexus forums and everyone elses mods are working properly-ish

yet why the f*#@ aren't mine

what do i have to do to get them to work?

they worked before the paid mods program

can anyone help

is there any genuine fix to this

ever since they changed how mods function from steam workshop after they started then removed that paid mods program my mods don't work

the mods are not being detected as installed when i play the game or in the skyrim launcher or nexus mod manager

i had the script extender that didn't work to fix anything despite other people claiming it to work

i installed it via steam

but i deleted it from steam because i was going to reinstall it manually to make sure it was installed properly and then it deleted my entire skyrim folder and now i have to reinstall

In general though, you don't want the Skyrim launcher to run as that'll try to update any mods subscribed to on Steam Workshop, and can mess up active esp's and load order - that's why many use SKSE beyond the extra scripting abilities.

i unsubed from everything

i resubed

it claimed it downloaded them

but my data folder is empty

skyrim launcher says i have 203 mods it tries to sync with saying it finished syncing(but it does not since individually it just goes from 1-203 then skips to finished) and launcher is empty

 

 

so where are my mods??????

someone claimed they moved into a "workshop" id file folder i opened it and saw 203 different id numbers

but they're still not working ingame as if bethesda has not updated the game to detect the workshop file

 

 

yet everyone elses mods are working so why not mine??????

i also got 0 byte downloads as i already said i can't fix it there is too many id numbers to edit and all my mods have no updates or already are updated automatically or manually i did it already
