On the Priority of the Nine quest, I had gotten to the point where I found the Helm of the Crusader within the ruins. I had been on that quest for so long, I decided to take a nice long break, finishing the main story line. The problem I'm having is I can't remember (I don't remember) Grabbing the ring/book off of his body. When I went back to the ruins, the skeleton was gone, and only the shield and the sword were there. The quest The Shrine of the Crusader is complete, and I really can't advance. I don't have the ring anywhere in my invo, or in any of my storage chests. I have tried Googling this problem- looking for ways to add the ring VIA a cheat, resurrecting the body, using a placemeat... To which I really can't find anything. Just tutorials for the quest. I'm so stuck. I just want to know if I should just give up or is there a way to get this ring?
