Sound looping problem

I've had this problem for a very long time and I've checked through all the other mentions of this and no one has yet to post a cause and fix for this.

 

Recent clip of my problem- you'll notice the sound looping on the thunder when I get outside the Oblivion Gate.

My game picks out one sound effect at random, and then goes on to repeat only that one sound effect over and over until I leave the area and it doesn't have to play it anymore. This seems to happen with most environment sound effects (lightning and wind are the most noticeable).

There is more going on here than meets the ear, so to speak. For instance, Captain Burn has the double face bug, usually associated with followers after fast travel. What information is missing, then?

What more information do you want? I think I've given all I can with the mod list. I've come across the follower double face bug before, that's just something that happens with no fix besides the spell the UOP gives to fix it on the occasion. That problem is unrelated to the sound looping.

Well, no, it shows that you are running around playing while there are current bugs active. So I ask myself, what else is going on that is not evident?

What's going on here? Again, check the mod list- that's what's going on here. If you have no experience or have no idea how to correct the issue at hand, please don't say I'm trying to trick you by not providing all that I know about this sound looping bug. Again, the double face bug is something I have encountered multiple times before, even before I noticed the sound loop issue.

 

This sound repeat / looping problem has been posted multiple times before and no one has linked it to be caused by the double face bug which occurs very often.

haha, alright well thanks anyways then. The problem still remains unresolved though. If anyone has encountered this problem and managed to fix it, please let me know what the problem is!

Is this only around Oblivion gates or does it happen with all weather effects? What do you have merged in your Bashed Patch? All Natural affects all weather to some extent, but it shouldn't be causing this problem if it were installed correctly.

This sound looping problem seems to happen with most weather sounds, I've noticed it with thunder and wind sounds so far. So yeah it can happen anywhere, I just showed it at the Oblivion Gate because there is always thunder there.

Try removing the following from your bashed patch and only having them activated in your load order:

All Natural Base.esm [Version 1.3.1] [CRC: 47867C56]

All Natural.esp [Version 1.3.1] [CRC: 0C2B2233]

All Natural - SI.esp [Version 1.3.1] [CRC: FA38076A]

Better Cities - All Natural.esp [Version 4.9.5] [CRC: C850522C]

 

Be sure that "All Natural - Indoor Weather Filter for Mods" is merged into your bashed patch but not active in your load order. You may need to do a full reinstall of All Natural too, as it appears you don't have this plugin installed. There's a question somewhere in the OMOD scripted install that determines whether or not this gets installed.

 

The biggest thing here is that All Natural Base.esm is in your Bashed Patch and is therefore loaded after other plugins (as your bashed patch should always be loaded last). esm's are master files and must be loaded before any esp's (plugins). Also, if something is part of your Bashed Patch it shouldn't be active in your load order too because then it's loaded twice.
