i have reached the mod limit, but 40% of my mods are seperate esp's for the same purpose

i have reached the mod limit (255 plugins) and i am unable to load any more mods. this is super annoying because about 40% of my plugins are individual patches to make armor keywords, see-trough-scopes, and similar mods to work with my standalone weapons. how can i either get rid of these plugins, or make them all one single plugin instead of being 50+ random bs that is tanking up plugin space

im not a new modder per-se, but im not super skilled either, (i have dabbled in xEdit to modify values, but beyond that, im not quite sure what to do.)

i understand there is supposedly a mod on the skyrim nexus that is supposed to do this automatically, but im not sure how to get it working at all. (it dosent recognize fallout 4 existing.)

Best method for now is to use xEdit and open up mods that will combine into one mod logically with no conflicts and copy them into a new mod one at a time checking for conflicts FIRST Conflicts will Bork the process. as a rule most mods that depend on scripts have to be treated carefully when merging but the "Fix" mods you mention are great merge candidates.

Personally I apply a conflict filter (xEdit documentation will tell you how to) and then drag and drop values as needed directly into one of the conflicting plugins. You will, however, have to repeat this process everytime a mod updates. Alternatively, you can merge plugins with this script (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905/?), however, you won't be able to update the merged file. xEdit also has a "create merged patch" functionality, though I believe that it's not all that reliable. (Someone correct me if I'm off on that.)

Another thing I'd point out is that a lot of settings mods--no fall damage, easy hacking/lockpicking, no health per level, classic vats, vats over there, search and destroy, no hurrying comments (hey that's mine), move get out the way, CESD, create your own difficulty rebalance, configurable power armor fusion core drain, slower healing and rad reduction all levels, no scope fade in-- only change one or two settings and are super easy to simply remake as a combo-mod.
